The challenge

The challenge addressed by the project is to enhance the quality of guidance services in High VET education, increase awareness among High School guidance practitioners about HVET, and improve the competences of career guidance practitioners in quality-based cooperation. The project is designed to address several key challenges in the field of vocational education and training (VET). Firstly, it aims to enhance the quality of guidance services within the High VET sector. This involves improving the overall effectiveness and accessibility of guidance provided to students pursuing High VET pathways.

Secondly, the project focuses on increasing awareness among High School guidance practitioners about High VET pathways. By ensuring that these practitioners have a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and benefits associated with High VET education, the project aims to better guide students towards suitable career paths within the VET sector.

Lastly, the project aims to enhance the competences of career guidance practitioners in quality-based cooperation. This involves equipping guidance counselors and teachers with the necessary skills to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders, such as High VET providers, businesses, and other educational institutions, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to career guidance and support for students.

The aim

The aim of the project is to increase the number of participants in High VET 5 EQF pathways by enhancing the quality and inclusiveness of HVET guidance, raising awareness among High School guidance practitioners about HVET pathways, and improving the competences of career guidance practitioners in quality-based cooperation.

The objectives

The project has set specific objectives to achieve its overarching goal of increasing participation in High VET 5 EQF pathways by focusing on three main objectives:
