Our program, QUAHVET, operating under the Erasmus+ framework, has the objective of informing and motivating students to opt for High Vocational and Training Organizations for their education. Through the development of specialized models, we aim to enhance the vocational orientation process. QUAHVET is currently in its early stages of implementation.
During this phase of the project, research is underway in Greece, Italy, Spain, and Sweden to gather primary data on the current status of the attractiveness of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in these countries, as well as its perception among the public.
The need for this research stems from the recognition that in a continually evolving European professional landscape, there is a growing demand for employees with technical skills, alongside familiarity with the construction and utilization of new models and tools. Consequently, there has been widespread development of High Vocational and Training Organizations (HVET). However, there exists an information gap for both secondary education students and graduates regarding these organizations, as well as their prospects and professional development post-training.
Our research endeavors to pinpoint the reasons behind this knowledge gap concerning High Vocational Education and Training in all the partner countries (Italy, Spain, Sweden and Greece).
Keep an eye out for the results of our research and the upcoming steps in the QUAHVET journey.
